Hello everyone!
This year has really flown by, and the last couple of months seemed to have made the jump to warp speed. I have managed to get some things done though, like a few ideas for new stories. I started work on a third Sarah Sawyer adventure. Finished a free fluffy short story I’ll be giving away (see details below). I tried my hand at Supergirl SuperCorp fanfic (and I’m excited about the Crisis crossovers), though Lost Girl and Doccubus is still my first love. I had my website redesigned by the wonderful Tracee Alley (I think she hit a homerun). I am finally back in the gym and making progress toward getting back in shape. Found a new love in the show “Stumptown.” I hope it sticks around a while as it’s fun, quirky, has a great cast, and there’s Colbie Smulders kicking ass with her usual charm.
Looks like I can set some great 2020 goals for writing and fitness. Maybe it will be the year I get some abs. But only if this is the year I can tell carbs we need to see less of one another. Relationships can be hard.
In the meantime, holiday eating is in effect. This week’s carb count has to be teetering around 10k with all the pie, pumpkin-chocolate chip bread, and cookies. I also found Evan Williams whiskey apple cider, which now joins their eggnog in my holiday must-have’s.
